KFC-Style Rice Bowl Dupe with Dino Nuggets
A five-minute fend-for-yourself bowl: buttered steamed rice and sweet corn cut fresh off the cob, piled with chopped dino nuggets, gravy, and thick-cut cheese left to melt under its own heat. Pure late-night comfort food built entirely from what was already in the fridge.

- —microwaveable steamed rice
- 2 earscorn · kernels cut off the cob
- —butter · for the rice and corn
- —salt
- —black pepper
- —dino nuggets · cooked; she used whatever was left in the bag

Steps
- 1
Heat the microwaveable steamed rice and add it to a bowl.
- 2
Cut the kernels off two ears of corn and add them to the rice.

Creator's notes
Jessica made this on a fend-for-yourself night purely from what was already easily accessible in the house — she says it comes together in five, maybe ten, minutes. She prefers corn cut off the cob for the chunky pieces, admits two ears is arguably too much corn, and notes her gravy came out too thin. The cheese-on-top step is non-negotiable for a KFC bowl dupe: let it melt under the lid the way it does on the drive home.
