Muddled Strawberry Lemonade
Fresh strawberries and lemon smashed right in the cup, then topped with cold water and plenty of ice for a fair-style summer drink. It tastes like a day at the fair, and kids can make it themselves.
Ingredients
- 3strawberries
- 1/2lemon
- —cold water · from the fridge dispenser
- 3 scoopsice
Steps
- 1
Add 3 strawberries to a deli container or large cup.

Smash the strawberries down with a muddler.
- 3
Add half a lemon and muddle it in with the strawberries.

Fill the cup most of the way with cold water.
- 5
Top with 3 full scoops of ice.

Stir well, add a lid and a straw, and taste.
Creator's notes
Made as an after-school snack activity with a kid helper — deli containers with lids, a straw hole punch, and a muddler make it fair-style. Punch a hole in the lid so the drink can travel to the table.
