PBJ Trail Mix
A peanut-butter-and-jelly-inspired pantry-clean-out trail mix that layers salty pretzels and honey roasted peanuts with sweet dried strawberries, banana chips, and two kinds of chips. Equal parts of everything, mixed in one bowl, and gone just as fast.
Ingredients
- 1 cupmini pretzels
- 1 cupdried sweetened strawberries
- 1 cuppeanut butter chips
- 1 cupdried banana chips
- 1 cuphoney roasted peanuts
- 1 cupchocolate chips
Steps
- 1
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and use spoons to toss everything together.
- 2
Pick one piece of each ingredient, give it the tried-and-true shake in your hand, and taste it. Did you doubt for even a second it would be good?
Creator's notes
Everything goes in at a one-cup measure, so swap in whatever you have in your pantry. Serving it in a fancy bowl is what gets the kids to finally eat the reject snacks.
