Baked Parm Green Beans
Whole green beans tossed with garlic and olive oil, then baked under shaved Parmesan until the edges crisp and the cheese melts. A ridiculously easy side that disappears fast.
Ingredients
- 1 lbfresh whole green beans
- 4 clovesgarlic
- 2 Tbspolive oil
- —salt and black pepper · to taste; go easy on the salt since Parmesan is added too
- 1/2 cupshaved Parmesan cheese
Steps

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Snap the ends off the green beans (or cut them off with a knife or kitchen shears) and place the beans in a large mixing bowl.

Mince the garlic and add it to the same bowl.

Add the olive oil, salt and pepper, and toss everything well.

Transfer the green beans to a large casserole dish and spread them out evenly. Top with the shaved Parmesan.

Bake for about 20 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the beans are crisp-tender.
