Easy Sugar Cookie Icing
A glossy, four-ingredient icing that sets up smooth on sugar cookies and tints into any color you like. It comes together in about five minutes with pantry staples — no special equipment or fancy ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 cuppowdered sugar
- 1 tablespoonmilk
- 2 teaspoonslight corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoonvanilla extract · or almond extract

Steps

Sift the powdered sugar, then mix in the corn syrup and extract.

Add the milk 1 teaspoon at a time until the icing reaches your desired consistency.

Add food coloring a little at a time until you reach your desired color.
