Honey Garlic Brussels Sprouts
Halved Brussels sprouts roast until deeply browned and crispy in a honey-garlic glaze spiked with ground mustard and black pepper. A squeeze of lemon at the end keeps every bite bright instead of cloying.
Ingredients
- 2 lbbrussels sprouts
- 3 clovesgarlic
- 2 Tbspolive oil
- 3 Tbsphoney
- ½ tspground mustard
- —black pepper · to taste
- 1-2 tsplemon juice
Steps

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Slice the brussels sprouts in half lengthwise and remove any loose outer leaves, which would otherwise burn. Rinse under cold water, pat dry, and add to a large mixing bowl.

Grate the garlic into a small mixing bowl. Whisk in the olive oil, honey, ground mustard, and plenty of black pepper.

Pour the glaze over the brussels sprouts and toss to coat.

Spread the sprouts evenly over a baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes, until crispy and well browned.

Transfer the roasted sprouts to a serving bowl, drizzle with 1-2 tsp lemon juice, and toss to brighten everything up.
