3-Ingredient Puff Pastry Christmas Trees
Flaky puff pastry layered with pesto and sharp cheddar, cut into strips and twisted into festive little trees. A savory, three-ingredient holiday appetizer that comes together in minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 rollpuff pastry
- 1/4 cuppesto
- 1/2 cupshredded cheddar cheese · Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar
Steps

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet over parchment paper and cut it in half.

Use a spatula to spread the pesto evenly over one half of the puff pastry, then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.

Lay the second layer of puff pastry on top.

Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut the puff pastry into long strips about 1 inch wide.

Fold the strips to make the Christmas tree shape. Place a skewer down the middle to keep each tree intact and add a cheese star on top.
