Cheddar Cheese Cookies
Savory, crisp little cheddar rounds spiked with garlic powder and red pepper flakes, with crushed rice cakes folded in for extra crunch. They come together with just a handful of pantry staples and bake up golden at the edges — perfect for game day snacking.
Ingredients
- 1 block (8 ounce)sharp Cheddar cheese · grated and at room temperature
- 1 stickunsalted butter · grated
- 1 cupall-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoongarlic powder
- 1/2 teaspooncrushed red pepper
- 1/4 teaspoonsalt
- 1 cupfinely crushed plain rice cakes or rice cereal

Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the grated cheese, grated butter, flour, salt, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
