Chocolate Baked Oats
Ripe bananas, cocoa, and oats bake into a rich, sliceable chocolate oatmeal that tastes like dessert for breakfast. Make it once and you have grab-and-go slices all week.
Ingredients
- —Cooking spray
- 2over ripe bananas
- 1 1/2 cupsmilk
- 1/4 cupGreek yogurt
- 2eggs
- 1 tablespoonmaple syrup
- 2 1/2 cupsChocolate Oath oats · Substitute 2 cups oats, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cupcocoa powder
- 1 teaspoonbaking powder
Steps

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray an 8x11-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Place the bananas in the prepared baking dish and mash them.

Add the milk, yogurt, eggs, and maple syrup, and whisk to combine with the bananas.

Add the oats, cocoa powder, and baking powder, and stir to combine.

Bake uncovered until the top of the oatmeal is golden and the mixture is set, about 30-35 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.

Cut into 6 or 8 slices and serve.
Creator's notes
Uses Chocolate Oath oats; substitute 2 cups oats plus 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
