Creamy Chicken Orzo Soup
A cozy, creamy chicken and orzo soup packed with celery and plenty of garlic, made for nights when someone in the house is under the weather.
Ingredients
- —chicken
- —orzo
- a few stalkscelery · chopped
- clovesgarlic · minced; use generously
- —spinach · optional; leave out if picky kids won't eat it
Steps
- 1
Chop the celery into small pieces; a vegetable chopper works well.
- 2
Mince plenty of garlic.
- 3
Decide whether to add spinach. Leaving it out may make the soup easier to serve to picky kids.
Creator's notes
Garlic goes in heavily because it's good when you're sick. The spinach is optional: skipping it makes kids more likely to eat the soup.
