Viral Dot Cake Baked Oats with Cream Cheese Frosting
A single-serve banana baked oat cake that blends up in seconds and bakes into a tender, cozy little cake. Topped with tangy cream cheese frosting and rolled in sprinkles for that viral dot-cake finish.
Ingredients
- 1ripe banana
- 1egg
- ½ cupoats
- 1 tablespoonprotein powder · optional
- ½ teaspoonbaking powder
- —cooking spray
- —sprinkles
Cream Cheese Frosting
- 2 ouncescream cheese · room temperature
- 4 tablespoonsunsalted butter · softened
- 1 cuppowdered sugar
- ½ teaspoonvanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease one or two ramekins or an oven-safe pan with cooking spray.

In a blender, combine the banana, egg, oats, protein powder, and baking powder and blend until smooth and well-blended.

Transfer the batter into the prepared ramekin. Bake for 25-28 minutes, until a cake tester inserted in the center comes out with just a couple of crumbs.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before serving and frosting.

Frost the cake with the cream cheese frosting.

Place the sprinkles on a flat plate. Once frosted, carefully flip the baked oats over and dip them well into the sprinkles.
Creator's notes
Protein powder is optional. The signature dot-cake look comes from flipping the frosted cake and dipping it into a plate of sprinkles.
